Whew, okay, I've been lurking this site for about a couple of weeks and here goes:

000chan, like many other 4chans, follows the typical imageboard format Kusaba which began with the Japanese Futaba Channel. Many people who are aware of chans in general have some knowledge of 4chan -- in particular, it's /b/ - Random board. 000chan's moderators have pretty much a zero tolerance policy towards 4chan's 'cancer': the 'get' threads, camwhoring, spam, and generally drama-inducing threads such as Xbox 360 vs. PS3 -- which is reposted heavily on 4chan's /b/ if you've been there long enough.

Their main appeal and what separates them from most other chans are their radio programs, movie/tv show streams, and NES game emulators (the last two can be found on their /ent/ board). They're usually pretty consistent about taking/fulfilling requests so long as you mention it on their /000/ board or in IRC.

Their chan needs a lot of work, but it seems like they are drastically making improvements on their content and staff. It's a nice change of pace from most other chans I've been to.
