I've been buying from nationalnutrition.ca for exactly 2 years and 17 days. I could not be more impressed, except if the threshold for free shipping lowered.
When I buy vitamins online, I tend to buy in bulk, or at least the cost of what I buy comes to $79 or more (their threshold for free shipping). And when it's been under that amount, the shipping is reasonable at only $5.95, so less than other online stores ask.
I've mostly bought National Nutrition's own brand, Naturopathic Labs brand, because it costs less. The quality has been top rate. I am a "highly sensitive individual", meaning if there was something off or not as good about their Naturopathic Labs brand, I'd get sick.
But so far, so good.
Because I tend to have bad reactions to things once in awhile, I have twice been very grateful to National Nutrition for being so helpful when it happens. I have called them, pre-purchase, to make sure that if I have a bad reaction I can return the item for a full refund. The answer is yes. Both times that I have had a bad reaction (neither time has been to a Naturopathic Labs product) National Nutrition has emailed me a return shipping label with tracking as I'm telling them on the phone. I box up the item and send it back. I can track a return's progress online. And the very day that it arrives at National Nutrition, they have refunded me in full for that item, to my original method of payment. That means that I can afford to take a risk on something new.
They pack the orders well; I've not had anything arrived broken or spilled. And if their customer service remains true to form, if anything DID arrive broken or spilled, I know they would reship it immediately.
Their telephone support has always been pleasant and professional. If I have had a question that the person I've been speaking to can't answer right away, they find out the answer and call me back.
The website's search function is great. It's easy to navigate and gives you ability to do things other than just search, like put things directly into the cart from the search results, or fiddle around with search filters.
You can earn points with each purchase, to apply later to other purchases. A point is worth 1 cent.
They have great deals; two for one, buy this and get that for $1.99, buy this and get bonus item... I've managed to save quite a bit of money over the last two years with the two-for-one sales.
You can have an order sent to someone else's address; my mother wanted to try something so I ordered using my account, paid with PayPal, and had it sent to her address. That was convenient.
They have a great range of brands to offer, as well as their own top-notch-quality brand. They offer a very good variety of things health related, as well as some supplies for the do-it-yourselfers.
If their free shipping threshold were lower I'd be inclined to shop there more often, but as it is I've well-spent hundreds of dollars there over the last two years, so they're definitely doing things right.

DO NOT ORDER FORM THIS COMPANY. They will send your credit card to a third party and then the monthly charges will start. I had to file a fraud claim and cancel my card.
No way to reach a person - no confirmation e-mail or tracking numbers - submit a complaint by e-mail - no response - can't even fax them as the fax is always busy
Ever since they announced an update to a live inventory system, the delays have gotten worse than usual. When they say "16-21 days" to ship, you can bet it will be longer. Nevertheless, they charge your card immediately. This doesn't seem to be a good way to do business--one would never accept sending a product first then being paid 16-21 days later, so why is the reverse ok?
I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Got a sample product. GREAT stuff! BUT, don't bother to pay the extra for fast shipping. What the website says and what happens in real life are different universes. The website says it takes 24 to 48 hours to ship. OK, that's reasonable. Then it says you'll receive your merchandise in 7 to 10 days for Standard Shipping and 5 to 7 days for 'Rush' which costs extra. It also says you'll get an e-mail with tracking information once your item ships. What the site doesn't tell you is that these are 'working' days, not calendar days. Nor does it mention that it takes 3 days for orders to even be loaded into their system - What?! The computers don't work on the weekends?! Nor does it mention that the days to delivery only start AFTER the order is actually shipped! I placed by order the morning of April 14 which was a Friday and paid for Rush shipping. I assumed Sunday the 16th wouldn't be included in the shipping time. But all the shipping companies work on Saturdays. So, I'm thinking it should have shipped on the 15th but no later than the 17th which is 48 hours from the order time. Based on the website information, I calculated that I'm should receive delivery by the 21st but no later than the 24th. However, as of the 24th, I hadn't received any e-mail for tracking. So I called. I kid you not, if the product wasn't AWESOME, I would have cancelled right then and there. According to their less-than-helpful-and-unbelievably-rude 'Service' person, it takes 2 to 3 'working' days for the order to be entered in to the computer, then another 2 to 3 'working days to ship - and, they don't work Saturday or Sunday or Holidays. My package was, apparently, shipped on the 19th in the afternoon - 5 days after I ordered! I won't get it until the 28th. That is a full TWO WEEKS (11 'working' days) from the date of the order! Seriously, it's not worth paying the extra for rush shipping. PLUS, if you do decide to order, add 7 to 10 'working' days to whatever the shipping time says on the order form online because they are completely incompetent on this matter. What in the world are they doing - waiting on the orders to actually MAKE the product being ordered? In today's electronic world, there really isn't any excuse for it to take more than minutes to be recorded in their computer system and 5 days to ship is simply unconscionable unless you are FULLY INFORMED OF THAT on the website BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR ORDER - which, as of the writing of this review, you are not.
Sorry you had such a bad experience. You may be referencing the WRONG Company in your review. herbalremedies.com has not taken ANY ORDERS since Mar 22 2012. This is a common confusion as you probably ordered from herbalremedies1.com or some other web site with a similar web address, but completely UNRELATED to herbalremedies.com. Also note that as of November 11,2015 herbalremedies.com is a health information site only.
