I used to work for a doctor's office and we dropped united healthcare because of their very bad reimbursements to doctors. What this means for patients is that some doctors do not take UHC. This worsed once pacificare bought united healthcare. If you are offered multiple plans, try to stay away from this one. Plus, they don't cover anything in terms of prescriptions. If you can get it, try blue shield PPO instead....it might cost more, but it is well worth it in the end.
