EASY DROP & DRIVINGUK.NET

1st email replied:

Thank you for giving us a chance to respond to you. This is most certainly not a scam. What you have seen are comments made by ignorant people who will not give us a chance. Site jabber will not post our reply to the allegations which is most unfair. We are currently recruiting drivers in all areas. Our website inviting clients to use us will be launched at the beginning of May. We are inviting drivers to become partners which are why we ask for a contribution towards costs. This is a new way of operating which is why I wish people would just give us a chance. We do not launch until May how can anyone accuse us of being a scam!

All the best

Lorraine

2nd email replied:

This is a new partnership initiative which is why we are asking for a small contribution for the set up. Once we have a data base of drivers we launch the website inviting customers to use our drivers on a daily basis. The depots will be dotted around the UK depending on the demand. All the best

We have also received a email from drivinguk.net who promise money if we pay £49.99 to the secrets of a courier, the only problem is its the same address as easy-drop... is this a scam too? I hope not! What is wrong with people nowadays wanting to take peoples hard earned money...

I signed up to drivinguk.net paid £49 they say you can earn £350 a day, all they give you for your £49 is a list of courier companys and solicitor companys for you to phone up and ask them for work, to be honest you can look through the yellow pages to get numbers for free, i think it is all a rip off, if it was that easy everybody would be doing it, i am trying to get my money back, hope this helps to anyone thinking of signing up to any of these companys cheers

Been trying to research this before sending any money. Check the following links re: Easy Drop (which has the same postal address as the email received by bicky above). All in all, seems pretty dodgy:

Thank you all for the postings about Easydrop/drivinguk, I was about to sign up with them and send £49 of my dole money to start up a courier business and now realise its not worth it as I know I can do what they expect me to pay for - for nothing - thanks LEE B,

Just read the comments, was going to sign up, but if £49 is for postal addresses, phone No etc then why charge so
Much."If it is good good to be true it probably is", where have I heard that before?

I am pleased to find other people in the same boat ( not being horrible) with the same company, they are a scam. I paid £ 55 for staitionary and uniform. WHAT A CROCK. Did i spell that right? Easy scam. Tried to stop my cheque, the BBBs got to it in very short time.

Hi can anyone tell me if they have manage to find a phone number for this company? I want to call them and speak to someone about it but cant find a number. Every email i send them they never reply to. I know a lot of people think its a scam but i would like to talk on the phone to someone to find out.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi all.

Yeh I also fell for the scam, some people might disagree it's a scam, but I paid £49, they took my money fast enough, & 10 days after I'm still waiting for the magic link.
Can't get hold of anyone, not a reply to my emails.
The whole thing stinks, I hope people will read this & not be a dumbnut like me, save ya money.

If these people are advertising on the web surely the hosts are partially responsible for allowing the scams to be advertised in the first place... so instead of everyone moaning and groaning take action and report both the host and scammer to the relevant authorities...

Thanks Guys Sorry so many have been scammed... I won't be falling for this one. Put it down to experience, I've been caught before. Thanks to the internet, NO MORE!
