prom dress shopping
Ok this is the time of year to start shopping for prom dresses right ????.... Sooo, I realize that it's been almost eons since I graduated from highschool and my mom was a bargain shopper and a sewer,therefore my prom dress shopping consisted of going to Jo Ann fabrics and picking out a Vogue pattern and my choice of fabric. So I realize that those days are long gone. But can somebody explain to me when and how in the world did we get to the point where we started paying $400-$600 on prom dresses!!!..???..I mean am I just that far out of touch or is that outrageous to anyone else for a one night affair (not discounting it's importance to my stepdaughter) ???.. especially with all the other expenses that come with getting ready for that night and the rest of thesenior year period!!!.. furthermore.. can someone recommend a reputable online foral dress site with reasonable prices that middle class income families can handle???
Be careful! Most Prom/Wedding dress sites are from China and most hide their location. What you get, if you anything at all, is often something like a rice bag with a few holes in it for arms and head.
So shocked by what you said, maybe you can get more infor by chating with the sellers.
