Blog post: please avoid sites selling H1N1 treatments

Category: Health | Views: 346

The FDA and CDC have been warning consumers to avoid sites selling H1N1 treatments. Here's the full blog post: http://www.sitejabber.com/blog/2009/10/25/avoid-sites-selling-h1n1-swine-flu-treatments/

Good. Thanks for the warning. Hard to believe people buy this stuff without being able to verify what they're going to be swallowing! The CDC site has a huge amount of current information and is a must-read, thanks for that link.

I'm waiting now to see the first sites claiming that you can cure this by drinking a bottle of açai juice. And no, I'm not joking.

Cure your swine flu with Acai....Chris you can tell the future!!!

I made a guide on H1N1 sites that are reliable

Damn ... would you believe it?
"protect yourself from the swine flu and get some acai berry supplements before you start feeling sick."

I'm feeling sick already.

An interesting recent article on the FDA's efforts to crack down on sites making false H1N1 claims: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/06/business/06cure.html

I can't believe people would try to take advantage of people's fear of disease and death <sigh>. I suppose the good news is the Swine Flu doesn't seem as bad as everyone thought: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/8406723.stm
