About Us

What is SiteJabber?

SiteJabber is an online community of passionate internet users dedicated to improving transparency on the web. Our goal is to be the leader in thoughtful reviews and discussions of websites.

Why was SiteJabber started?

We started SiteJabber because we felt there wasn't enough transparency around the quality of websites and the services and products they offer. Whether it's a sketchy online dating service or a new website hosting company, we wanted to create an open environment where people could discuss the merits of these sites.

Who's behind SiteJabber?

Rodney, Michael and Jeremy started SiteJabber in in 2006. We're based in Sunnyvale, California.

SiteJabber ProfileRodney Gin
Rod is one of those guys that really gets into a subject and learns everything about it. So Rod is a great resource on websites relating to photography, videography, electronic gadgets, and anything related to medicine. He studied economics at UC Berkeley and received his MD from USC. Rod is also an enthusiastic amateur photographer/videographer and is currently reliving his youth by attempting to learn to surf and skateboard.
SiteJabber ProfileMichael Lai
Michael has had a lifelong passion for technology and the internet. When he's not busy scouring the web for interesting new websites, you might find him struggling at the low stakes poker tables in Vegas to "raise a seed round" for SiteJabber. Michael studied computer science at Stanford and business at Harvard. On SiteJabber, Michael enjoys posting about websites where you can find the latest technology, coolest music, and funniest videos.
SiteJabber ProfileJeremy Gin
Jeremy is the "utility infielder" of the SiteJabber team. While lacking useful expertise in any particular subject, Jeremy knows a little bit about many things. He studied astrophysics (dropped out), pre-med (dropped out) and economics (finally graduated!) at Cornell, and public policy and business at Harvard. On SiteJabber, Jeremy enjoys discussing the best online services for website owners, as well as investing, science, politics, art, and travel.
SiteJabber ProfileAdrienne Boerger
Adrienne has a passion for meeting new people and traveling. When she is not busy introducing herself to new SiteJabber members, she spends her time dancing or snowboarding. On SiteJabber, Adrienne is the person to say hi to if you are looking to make new friends and get more involved in the SiteJabber community
SiteJabber ProfileTina Seto
Tina is a bay area native and an aficionado of farmers markets, organic foods and simple living. She finds inspiration in nature and her travels. The Amalfi Coast, Cinque Terra, Ke'e Beach, Innsbruck and the redwoods in Northern California are some of her favorite destinations. Tina studied mathematics at UCLA and computer science at Stanford. She is also a certified Montessori teacher and enjoys the wonderment children have in discovering the world in which we live.
SiteJabber ProfileTammy Hwang
If Tammy hadn't studied Human Computer Interaction at Stanford, she almost certainly would have become a famous cosmetologist and/or TV analyst. Tammy is a fount of information on hair, makeup, and beauty websites, as well as anything related to television. So if you have beauty or TV questions, just let Tammy know.
